Happy Halloween!!!!

Happy Halloween!!! It was a beautiful day! Only 90 + degrees! Brooklyn was a little bumble bee! She was so good in her costume. We took her on main street with the rest of the town. It was crazy!!! Kids everywhere. We stopped by Grandma Dolly's house first. After trick or treating we stopped and ate spaghetti at Grandpa Hankes. Now we are getting ready for our trip to Tucson and then HAWAII!!!! See most of you in a couple days!

More cruise..........

All the pictures are of Puerta Vallarta except the last one. It is so green there. Our tour guide flipped his ATV. (This was before we had the Tequila.) Luckily it wasn't that bad. Kari and I were freaking out because there were very steep edges and lots of obstacles to go through. We had only been on the ATVs for about 5 minutes when we had to go through this muddy ditch. Then after coming to another ditch with raging rapids they decided to turn around. Thank goodness. That's when we went to the Tequila Distillery. For the record I didn't even remember taking this picture. Yikes! That's what happens when you haven't had liquor is awhile. The guy on the rock, blind folds himself and jumps into this raging river. There were rocks and whirlpools. The guy is nuts! That river is also what we zip lined across. That is me starting a zip line. And the last picture is Cabo San Lucas. Our boat anchors and we take little fairy boats to the shore. The other towns it has ports it stops in. That is our boat too.

Cruise....

Here are a couple pictures from the cruise. The cruise we took was the Carnival Mexican Riviera. Our first stop was Puerta Vallerta, then Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. There was a concern that Hurricane Ivan was going to hit Cabo but it didn't. Puerta Vallerta was awesome. We went on ATVS through the mountains and local farms and hills and jungles. Then went to a Tequila distillery, and after that we went on Zip lines. The highest Zip line was 1000 ft high and 1200 ft long. Thank goodness for the tequila first! It was amazing. We zip lined over rushing rivers and trees, so cool. I will find the pictures and post them. Mazatlan pretty much was a bummer. It rained and we thought no big deal a little rain won't slow us down. It did. Mazatlan is famous for its shopping and Diamonds. We were soaked and not interested in any of it! Cabo was really nice. The weather was perfect. We took a tour of the town, went to a glass blowing factory. Then went on a glass bottom boat tour. Went to Cabo Wabo and had a margarita. Then we ate at a better restaurant and had a couple more margaritas! Then back to the boat. I will post in another post the pictures from all the different ports. The top pictures are just leaving port which was in Long beach. The next picture is of Brooklyn with one of the many towel characters. She would usually tear them apart before we could get a picture. The last picture is of Long beach coming back. Oh the beautiful smog!

TEETH!!!!!!!!!!

I just took this picture maybe a week ago. At the time she had

two teeth on the bottom. Tonight I just noticed another one on the bottom came through. So she has 3 teeth. We really have not had a hard time with her teething, yet. Some days she's a little more tired or cranky. But nothing compared to all the horror stories I've heard. Phew!

Labor day........

Labor Day we went to Prescott to visit family. Ted and Linda were there. And Tom and Phyllis and Uncle Jason. We had a really good time. The weather was awesome. 80's. What a change! The family picture is of us at one of the scenic views on the way to Jerome, AZ. Its a little ghost town. It used to be a big copper mining place. Its about forty-five minutes from Prescott. It was a winding road, with very steep edges. It had really pretty views. The other picture is Brooklyn playing in GRASS!!!! You don't see that around here to often!!! During our trip sweet Brooklyn cut her first tooth!!!!! Exciting!!! Picture to follow...........

August pictures...........

Its so hard to only pick a few pictures. I have millions of pictures. Going from the top is Brooklyn enjoying taking a "big girl" bath! Then Brooklyn with her new push stroller, to encourage walking. She'll walk with it but really she just likes to push the buttons on it and dance and listen to the music. Then the next picture is a mistake. I don't know how to delete it. Whoops! Then the next picture is when Brooklyn fell asleep while eating. It was hilarious. I couldn't believe she was going to sleep. Justin and I were cracking up. We have a video if anyone is interested in seeing it!!! (first time parents! I know!) Then the next picture is our baby girl asleep. So precious. I could stare at her all day. And finally the bottom picture is of Brooklyn just starting to pull herself up onto furniture. Its so much fun taking pictures of her. And since everyone is so far away just want to keep you all posted!

Misc. Pictures..........June and July!!!

Maybe April and May pictures too!!! Ha ha ha!!! One is Brooklyn in her fourth of July dress. The other is first time in the pool. She loves the pool. Another is her in her bath towel. She is a stinker when it comes to getting dressed after the bath. Have to chase her around. And the other is Brooklyn looking like a little diva! She is about 4-6 months in these pictures.

Mothers day.....

Finally a post!!!! Brooklyn has been sleeping for almost 3 hours so I have a little time. Justin took Myself, his mom, Kari and baby Brooklyn on the lake for Mother's Day. It was a beautiful day. The weather is actually just starting to get really hot here. We just got our boat all dialed in new upholstery and new floor. We had a few major issues like the two feet of water in the engine compartment. Luckily we emptied a jar of peanuts and had an empty potato salad container that we could use to bail the water out. After that it was smooth slow sailing! We went to Steamboat cove and picnicked on the shore. Then took a stroll under the bridge. Brooklyn felt the water for the first time. She was really good considering she has to wear a very constricting life jacket. It was a very wonderful first Mothers Day! Thank you Justin! Hope all my sisters and Mom's enjoyed their Mother's Day also!

Happy Spring........

Watch out Victoria Secrets there's a new model in town! We bought her a bikini while we were on vacation in California. I am not sure if this bikini will actually ever get wet. It was just so cute I had to get it. And of course I had to put it on her just for fun! Its to hot here I think to take her out on the boat. I would be afraid of dehydration or her getting sun burned. But we will see. She is such a blast. She is always smiling and starting to giggle. She is rolling over and over! And I think she is trying to scoot but can't quite manage. It's all happening so fast. She still can't sit up yet. Not sure if she is actually supposed to sit up??? Hmmm??? I have tons of pictures of here but it takes forever to put them on here and I don't want to bore anyone! Well this is enough updates for one day. More to come! Love you all!

Jelly bellys...........

Yea!!!! The Jelly Belly Factory!!!! I Love Jelly Bellys!!!! It was I think a two hour wait in line. But oh so worth it!!! I think I was more excited then anyone! The tour was different then I remember but still good times. And very interesting. I blame Heidi for my Jelly belly obsession. I thought I was over them until she regifted a gift of Jelly Bellys to me during Christmas. Now the animal is unleashed and I have to eat them all the time! Brooklyn slept for most of the tour. I guess we will have to go again so she to can experience where Jelly Belly's come from!

Easter......

Easter was at Heidi's house. It was a perfect day. So glad we were able to be part of it this year.

It was awesome seeing Ben and Nitu. Meeting little Kyle. Great seeing Dad and Joe and meeting little Kiersten. We had a really good visit. Austin and Preston had a good time arm wrestling Justin. They almost got him down! We had a really good time. Thanks for making us feel welcomed! Are we doing it again next year?

Brooklyn Baby......March

Just a couple pictures of our little sweetie! She is just wonderful. She makes us
smile all the time. The picture are just a couple of my favorite ones from March. The one with her on the leopard towels is her eating bananas for the first time. She actually did really good. It wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. We give her pears and bananas every now and then. Mostly just nursing still. Her favorite time is bath time. I think its my favorite time to. She is starting to kick and splash. Lots of fun. I also love getting her dressed on my days off. She has so many adorable outfits that she is out growing way to fast. Aunt Heidi was right when she said "she will never wear all these clothes!" The weather is really nice here so all her warm clothes won't be worn. :( No more cute little jeans and zippy sweaters. Now its time for the dresses and skirts!

Nathans visit...

Here are a couple pictures from when Nathan and family visited at the end of February. We had a really great time when they were here. When you coming back??? Alan read Brooklyn a book they gave her. And the other picture is all the girls.....and Nathan! Fun times!!!

She's a big girl now....

Friday night Brooklyn slept the first night in her crib. She did perfect. I didn't do so well. Running back and forth making sure she was still breathing. Tears in my eyes staring at the empty bassinet next to our bed. However, she's happy to have all the space to move around. I will just have to get used to her not being next to us. Oh so many changes that come with parenthood. Why didn't anyone warn me? One of the pictures is of Brooklyn sideways in her crib. Thats how Justin found her. And the other picture is this morning waking up happy as usual. Nathan and his family are visiting so I will try and get a picture of them while they are here.
